CCPP is carrying out the following research projects, in collaboration with institutional bodies:

  • European Health Data & Evidence Network – EHDEN

Project funded by the Consortium Innovative Medicines Initiatives (IMI), pubblic-private partneship endorsed by the European commission. The EHDEN consortium (www.ehden.eu) is made up of 140 partners, including academia, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient associations, regulators and pharmaceutical companies. EHDEN’s mission is to provide a new paradigm for health data discovery and analysis in Europe by building a federated data network from partners across Europe. The project goal of CCPP will be the standardization of health data sets for the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM), and the use of analytical tools such as those developed by the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI – www.ohdsi-europe.org).

  • PROCare4Life – PeRsOnalized Integrated CARE Solution for Elderly facing several short or long term conditions and enabling a better quality of LIFE 

Project funded by the European Commission (H2020). The main aim of PROCare4Life is to develop an integrated, scalable and interactive care ecosystem, easily adaptable to specific needs of several chronic diseases and to the requirements of all stakeholders, from patients to caregivers and health care professionals.

  • Pain-RELife – Sustainable and integrated big data ecosystem for continuity of care and decision support for patients with pain

Project funded by Regione Lombardia (POR 2014-2020), meaning to create a dynamic and integrated technological ecosystem, based on technologies for big data management and analysis. The project aims to foster the continuity of care for patients with pain, by involving the entire health care chain, from diagnosis to home therapy, telemonitoring, and patient/caregiver support, while sustaining the decision process.

  • BE-TOP – Neuroimaging biomarkers towards an optimized and personalized Action Observation treatment in chronic stroke patients

Project funded by the Italian Ministry of Health (Ricerca Finalizzata 2015); it consists of a joint multi-center study with the IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana, aiming to develop and test new strategies to maximize the efficacy of upper limb functional rehabilitation.

  • MemoMCI – Targeting reconsolidation to strengthen memories in individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment 

Study funded by the European Commission (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions), aimed at reconsolidating Memory in subjects affected by Mild Cognitive Impairment.

Project approved by the European AAL (Active Assisted Living) program and funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, in collaboration with the Media Hospital company, aimed at improving cognitive functions in healthy subjects through the use of exergames based on virtual reality.

Research agreement with the CRUI Foundation (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research together with Confindustria) for the development of research projects in the context of bio-engineering and bio-informatics, co-funded by innovative companies.
