Consensus Conference for Patient Engagement
Casa di Cura Privata del Policlinico is continuing to aim on the increasing role of the person, seen as an active and “expert” subject within the clinical-care process.
This path led to the implementation of the Consensus Conference on the topic “Recommendations for the Promotion of Patient Engagement in Clinical-Nursing Care for Chronic Diseases” on April 5th. The event was held at Università Cattolica, in collaboration with the Lombardy Region and under the supervision of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. More than 100 experts, representatives of different professional worlds, citizen associations, patients and institutions, attended the Consensus Conference.
On June 13, 2017 the Chair of the Jury Panel of the Consensus Conference will communicate to the public the recommendations that have emerged for the promotion of Patient Engagement.
